I found the "WH Backord Line" Service and I went down the IPA road.

Two weeks with support and ... evidently WH110 Batch Allocation only triggers for OE back orders.  We use RQ to order from our warehouse.  Warehouse wants to notify users immediately, if there is an item back order.

We use Smart Notes for Kill notification, but I really dislike Smart Notes and want to notify users ASAP.

Any thoughts on best method for immediate-ish, notification of back orders from requisitions?

    Thanks,

    Derek

From the IPA v10 reference guide, it's there from WH32: Shipment Backordered or Voided
This trigger creates a work unit when a shipment line is backordered or voided in the Warehousefeedback processes on Picking Feedback by Shipment (WH30), Packing Feedback by Shipment(WH31), or Shipping Feedback by Shipment (WH32).

They're saying that is OE only?

Our warehouses print Backorders on the WH130 printouts and leave with the deliveries so it hasn't come up here. If you can get the SQL, you could have an IPA run every hour and find new lines to email?

Thanks for the suggestion.  I'll check the schema to see if there is a date / time stamp I can limit processing to.
