We want to set up some nonstock items that have two different buy uom, so item 'A' can be purchased by a CA/100 for one requesting location, and can be purchased by a EA/1 for a different requesting location.

Does anyone have this set up, and is it working well or are there some work arounds/issues with it?

    Thanks!

We do this with non-stock. There is no way to make it available only to one req loc or the other - they can both order CA and can both order EA - and you must assign a default for users in Express Order.

But otherwise - PO25 UOM must Match is the key

Scenario 1 - UOM must Match N (No) This is preferred because then Lawson does math and you don't need to maintain. Whichever UOM the pricing is tied to is marked as Default on IC11. So in your example:
      PO25.6 ITEMA $100 CA
IC11 - Stock UOM EA (tracking and trans 1 on UOM tab) Buy UOM flag 2 (Valid)
CA 100 Trans flag 2 (Valid) Buy UOM Flag 1 (Default)
Then we would put it on templates as CA or EA for the departments. But if a users finds it in Search or Express Order - it will default to CA. Add to cart. If desired, click the item in the cart - UOM should show a drop down. Change UOM to EA and clear price. Click Change. Line should show in Cart as $1 EA and release as normal.

If PO25 UOM must Match Y (Yes) you are committing to putting 2 lines on it - one for CA $100 and the other for EA $1. The rest of it would be pretty much the same.

Thanks so much Kat! I really appreciate the feedback, I worked with Support on this and all they offered was to apply new patches/version uploads. I will give this a try!

        Thanks again!
