Our company now wants to add an employer paid contribution to employee enrolled HSAs. Of course the preference is to also tier this with a max contribution and it's not necessaryily a percentage or dollar match so I already have approval to maintain the employee level amounts manually at the PR14 level. Anyway, do others here generally just approach this by adding a company paid deduction code to the BN15 HSA plan or do you prefer to set this up as a separate BN15 plan? I've already created and tested a new PR05 deduction code added to the existing BN15 employee plan and that seems to work. Just don't want to box us into a corner if others here recommend a different approach.

We didn't tie our company deduction to a benefit plan at all since it was not a consistent amount from year to year. It is only on the PR14.
