    Hi,

I am trying to access the Lawson Portal and I get this error "The Lawson Portal does not support this browser: Netscape.

Use the Portal Installation Guide to determine the system requirements needed for running the Lawson Portal".

I went to Tools>Compatibility View Settings and I added netaspx.com. I then get this error

    "Error: Type Error; Message:

Unable to set property "async" of undefined or null reference

Description:Unable to set property "async" of undefined or null reference

Any ideas? I have Windows 7. I get this same error in IE, Safari, Mozilla Firefox and Chrome.

I'm going to guess that you are running IE version 11. Lawson portal does not correctly interpret that and thinks it is a Netscape browser. Try running in Compatibility mode, that should get you past the error message. If you need to roll out compatibility mode (we did), I believe there is a thread here about IE version 11 with examples of what you need to do.

Even though if you run IE 11 , if you do Functionn 9 or a Function 11 key. It will give the optioons to run the Brower as IE 9.
    This will work fine

Running IE 11 in a compatibility mode will work but the status bar on the bottom will not update correctly in Portal. The best thing to do is to make sure you are using IE version 10. I think this link will work for you ( https://www.microsoft.com...etails.aspx?id=39232 )
