Article Series on Design Studio, Part 7: It Takes a Wizard

This installment of our article series on Lawson Design Studio focuses on the Wizard Designer component. Wizard Designer is definitely the least-used component of Lawson Design Studio; I can honestly say that I haven't met many clients who have actually used it!  Read More..

      • Arun MRuma Malhotra Hi Ruma - My name is Arun and I work for a healthcare firm. I just thought will check with you for something. I am currently working on a migration project where in we are moving away from Lawson and bringing in MS4. I am trying to put together a file for deduction data from lawson so that, it can be used as an input to MS4. And I have been having a tough time finding out which fields are from which tables in lawson. I have an excel spreadsheet with the list of fields. I could use some help and wanted to see if you could help me out with this. Thanks a lot!!

            • StephanieHi Arun, have you used the ctrl shift O function? This would tell you the field names in Lawson, you can then input this into MSAddin's Query if you were unsure of what tables the fields came from. I'd be happy to help when general feedback but there may be a lag time with my response.

              Hope this helps!

              Stephanie

Another Update on Alleged Patent Infringement

Back in 2011, Lawson responded to an Alleged Patent Infringement by replacing Requisition Self-Service (RSS) with Requisition Center (RQC). In the meantime, Lawson has been acquired by Infor, but the patent case still lingers. Here’s an update. Some of you might have received this notice from Infor, and are unsure how this might impact your […]

            Time To Rename LawsonGuru ?

With Lawson S3 and M3 customers adopting integrated Infor products, is it time to expand and rename the LawsonGuru Letter and LawsonGuru.com? I thought it would be fun to ask the community for advice. Here are some ideas:Filed under: Infor, Infor Acquisition

            Inforum 2013

I just returned from Orlando, having attended Inforum 2013. Last year’s Inforum, which quickly followed the acquisition of Lawson by Infor, was really just a combination of Lawson’s annual conference (CUE) with Infor’s name and logo slapped on for good measure. This year was quite a different story. Starting with the fact that I was actually […]
