I am wondering if there is any organization out there that has successfully implemented Lawson v10 with Cerner Surginet, Case Cart Picking, and Quick Adds for the OR? We have been struggling and I would appreciate any information (good or bad) to assist with any best practice implementation ideas or tricks. We have 47 OR rooms total (37 in the main, 4 on 2nd floor, and 6 in Day Surgery).
Today (each day brings it's own struggles ), we are trying to figure out how to have an item in multiple locations under one asset inventory so that the clinicians don't choose the wrong area for ICPL documentation/decrementation. The inventory will never sustain if it is chosen incorrectly. Also, has anyone had success with training the clinical team on using the case cart picking process, so decrementation happens at the time of picking? The returning of the items is a huge issue.
I will stop there and hope there is someone out there that has had success. Quick adds have their own unique challenges .
