Does anyone know if Infor is developing anything to assist with 1094/1095 reports/filing

Do any of you have a negative benefit deduction for a wellness credit We have used income codes previously and would like to give back a premium in the way of a negative deduction.  We will be giving employees on the health plan that have a User Field populated with a 'YES' for having met the Wellness requirements and want to drive the benefit enrollment off of that field. I need help.  We are on v10.  I need to know if payroll jobs can be shared among PR users  We have 3 PR resources.  Each of them at any time could be the 1 running payroll.  I'm being told that they all 3 have to have all the PR jobs duplicated under their user id or we have to go with a generic user id, create the jobs 1x under that generic id and the 3 employees will have to log in as that generic id in order to run the jobs.  Maintaining 3 sets of the jobs opens up the risk of someone making...

Hi All,    I am looking for best practices for backing up a database for a payroll run.  Do most sites take a backup prior to the payroll runs and/or take strategic backups thru the payroll run.   I did see some posts back from 2009 about some taking a backup after PR160 run.  Any comments would be appreciated.  Thanks Terry

We have ESS/MSS version 10.0.5 and the Beneficiary module works great.   Does anyone have any great ideas on how to get employees to use it   Other than sending mass emails (that employees ignore), anyone have success getting employees to update their information   Can it be tied to the open enrollment process somehow  Thanks for your ideas....

When dealing with terminated employees on reports, our company goes by the Last Day Paid field as the term date. While browsing the HRHISTORY table I noticed that most employees have their last day paid stored in there, but there are a few here and there that don't. I have BN15 set up for the two RS HSA plans so that their is also an ER contribution of $260 since benefits wants the employee to receive $10 per pay period. This works great for anyone that was enrolled as of 1/1/2016 but for any new hires the $260 is divided by the number of pay periods remaining so then I have to go in manually and change PR14 to $10. PR05 is set up as a flat amount of $10. Does anyone have this set up another way

My current client has over 60,000 employees and they are struggling with the run-times for the payroll jobs. I am thinking that the run-times may be reasonable because they have so many employees. Can someone with close to the same number of employees, please share their run-times for PR140, PR141, PR197 & PR198  Thanks!

We have a user who is trying to add a new employee in test. It appears she would have all the correct security set up but she keeps getting an error occured outside of IOS while accessing lawson security.   Im curious if maybe she is missing certain security somewhere.

We are in the process of upgrading to 10.0.6 and we are having issues with the LP system. Our LP03.5 screen is displaying all values except the Web Negative Balance Option. When I query I can see the value, but it does not display. We can update the value and see it populate, but when we leave the screen and come back it is no longer displaying. Any help would be appreciated as we are under the gun with our testing.

We are in the process of upgrading to 10.0.6 and we are having issues with the LP system.  Employee has 2 or more lines of time entered against insufficient PTO balance. The system took the first entry and created unpaid time (with offset) correctly. However, the second line processed and created unpaid time (with offset) that included the first unpaid amount added to the new amount.   Any help would be appreciated as we are under the gun with our testing.

We are currently in v9.0.0 and evaluating our options if to continue with Lawson or pick another payroll service provider. We have issues with our Benefits Open Enrollment. Infor Support says we need to upgrade from 9.0 to 10.7. We are in the middle of company merge and we don't have the luxury to mess up Lawson. Is 10.7 EMSS upgrade just simply will overwrite xbnnet, xhrnet and LOGAN Is it still JavaScript We have plenty of customizations.   Thanks

Is there a table that tracks when a change is made to HR11 data I realize the information resides in EMPLOYEE, PAEMPLOYEE, etc. I would like to be able to detect when an address change is made, a phone number, name change, etc. Any ideas

We are in the parallel testing phase of our conversion from Infor's M3LL Mainframe payroll system to Lawson v10 using BSI.  From the beginning we have had issues with Missouri and Ohio local payroll taxes when testing.  We have worked with both BSI and Infor but can't seem to get any answer from either party on what's wrong.  In fact, Infor has had the Ohio Lebanon issues open for almost 2 months without much response.  BSI has not been much help either.  We keep BSI up to date with Cyclic and B...

How do I access the BSI log  My  question is after running a 'dummy pr80' function, I discovered that  the  local w/h  tax is being incorrectly calculated  based on the bsi rates used by Lawson. What table would I need to update vacation carry over hours

In an employee group, if we want to include all employees that do not have a null (or have any value) in the Benefit Date Field 5, what is the syntax for the beginning value   We have people with varying dates but if they do not have a date they should not be in the group.   Thanks, Wendy
