We are going to set up an HRA (Health Reimbursement Arrangement)plan which is company paid. These are for the traditional plans not the High Deductable plan. The company will be giving monies based on salary, if you not a smoker, etc. I am thinking employee groups for the eligibility but they will be various amounts depending on the incentives. Adding Same-Sex Spouses & State Tax Implications

We are extending benefit coverage to same sex spouses, starting effective 1/1/2014. The Feds have announced that same sex spouses are to receive the same favorable tax treatment for plan premiums, so we don't have to do the whole after-tax portion of the premium and the imputed income. ESS Time Entry

We are looking at implementing ESS Time Entry.  I'm a little confused on the time records after the supv has approved the pay period.  What happens if the employee forgot to enter time such as overtime and the supv already approved the time  How does it get entered  What if the employee enters Vacation time, but it should be Sick time.  How are these corrections done in ESS Time Entry I've also noticed that HS535 changes the status of the records  Does it change the status if the employee...

ESS Printed Payment with Shift Diff

We are in healthcare with diffs and several types of incentive pay.  Currently ESS Printed Payment the Pay Summary Group  Base Rate and Pay Sum Group Pay Period Wage. We found the an option to display the calculated rate (baseshift diff) but that is not the level of transparceny our organization is seeking.  We want to see on seperate lines for base wages and shift diffs. Hours Base Rate on one line then Hours Diff on another. 403b deferrals stopping at annual comp limit & 457b incl in 401a17

403(b) deferrals are being stopped once someone meets the annual compensation limit ($260k in 2014) BEFORE someone meets the 402(g) limit. Our company has opened a ticket to Lawson but I'm wondering if this is something we can override or fix in the setup so we don't have to wait for our ticket to receive a response. Multiple Veteran Codes

Per the gov't guidelines, I am to capture and report on every veteran code an employee provides to me.  Unfortunately, HR11 > Veteran field allows for just one selection.  If an employee states that they're Recently Separated and a Disabled Veteran, I need to collect and report on both instances for the VETS-100A.  How are you doing that since Lawson allows for a single selection We don't want to create various selections with the User Fields because it won't update the VETS-100A report with...

vacation buy after tax

We are planning on making our vacation buy plan after tax this year so that it can be rolled into the following year.  So it's not an accounting nightmare with all the reconciliations at the end of the year. Has anyone been successful at setting up vacation buy as an after-tax benefit  Any advice on how you did it, would be helpful.

LP64 Absence Balance - Extra Accrual

Same Gender Taxation

Override Pay Cycles

We are in the process of testing new plans in Absence Management.  We want to test accruals and make sure employees are moving to the correct accrual ammount based on the pay cycle they are on. PA52.1 - Grade Not Found In Schedule Error

We have just closed out a project which saw all of our employees globally receive a Schedule and Grade (previously only our US-based employees had these populated). We have made the new schedules in PA95 effective 01-JUN-2014, same with HR06 job codes.
