We added new contribution ratesto our existing benefit plans on BN19.1. Our open enrollment was done through ESS and anyone who made an election for 2014 has a new BN32 record dated 1/1/14 and everything is working fine. But employees who did not make an election will carry their existing benefits into the new year, and their BN32 record has a date of 1/1/13, which is pulling in the old rate from BN19.1. How do you handle raises during pay periods  We are unionized and utilize Step and Grade schedules, but if there is a raise on January 1 apparently we have to do a lot of hand entry of the correct rate for prior to January 1 if the new schedule has already been attached to the employee, even if the effective date isn't until January 1.

We have employees that all allowed to make a PR deduction into a non-qualified 457b account.  Then when the employee terminates; they need to have the account paid out.  Payroll pays out the money (not the bank that was holding the funds).  Does anyone else have a similar situation and if so how do you have it set up I know that when they had the 457b deduction; it was FICA taxed and federal and state deferred.  So now when they receive this deferred money; the opposite is true.  So FICA exempt...

I want to stop several plans using BN103 effective 12/31/13.  The medical plans that I will be stopping will not be used in 2014.  New plans have been set up for 2014.  Will the runing of the BN103 affect 2013 payroll processing  We still have deductions that need to come out for 2013.  I would like to stop the plans now as opposed to doing this on 12/31/13 as payroll has requested.

We recently had an issue where approximately 50 new hires did not have an LP31 plan built by the LP100. I have reviewed the following already and am at a standstill as to what to look at next: 1.  PA100 was run in update mode. 2. I have been unable to create an Addins template to change user field values on HR15.1.  The template we created can change the value on the 1st user field but doesn't successfully change the value on any of our user fields.  We have over 50 possible userfields on HR11.  I did not find an HR15.1 template in the list available on INFOR. How do you blank the HR 11 termination date field using an HR511  I have an employee who is termed in one facility, but is employed at a facility that was acquired effective 1/1.  I was able to change the job information and update the Date Hired, but the term date is still populated.  Thanks.

I need to purge an employee  inactive record so that I can load the active record from a new acquisition.  Because the inactive record was from a contractor status, the company wants to remove it and bring in the new (payroll record) like the inactive never existied.  I thought Lawson had a purge process in Infor KB, but I can't find it to run the 3 programs.  I thought one was for history, one for pa history and then the Hr125  Thanks!

Hello! On the HR11 screen in the Work tab i am able to see that the EEO-4 Functional Group code is linked to the paemployee table. Where can i find the table that supplies the Description for that code For example, EEO-4 Functional Group code 01 is Finance Admin/General Control. I am able to cntrl-shift-O and see that the code is linked to the PEM (paemployee) table.  How do i find where the description attached to that code resides Thanks, Chris

Due to Obamacare our company has decided to outsource the benefits module to Towers Watson.      They require a tremendous amount of information in a specific date order.  Has anyone outsource their benefits to Towers       If so do you have any helpful tips in doing this process

Any clue how to tie the job code user fields back to the actual job code  I was able to find the user fields and the descriptions on the HRPOSFLDS and HRPSVAL tables, but I can’t get the job code tied to its user field on the user field button at the bottom of the HR06.

I need to download each biweekly accrual for specified data range and the associated dates that appear on the Transactions tab on LP64. I can't locate what table this data is stored in. We are on Lawson 9.0.1.  We applied MSP9 in April.  We discovered months later that PR197 had failed to move wages from TIMERECORD to PRTIME and QUARTWAGE for seemingly random employees (it seems to be isolated to pay codes that are set on PR20.4 with the Override Ded Expense set to blank or 1, although it doesn't happen for every employee with a time record to that pay code).  We have since gotten a fix from Lawson so that PR197 works correctly now, but we have about 2000 paychecks that are mi...

I am new to Lawson and we are on Portal version 9.0.1.  For benefits that require EOI, is there a way to pend the transaction until EOI is completed.  Currently, we are backing out the payroll deductions for any benefit with EOI.  For example, the AFLAC plan, everyone needs to have an EOI, so we back out the deduction and wait for the approval to manually update the deduction.

During our online annual enrollment, there are a few employees that I can see via BS31/BS531 signed up for dependent benefits, but when you look at the bndepbatch file and BN532, no dependents appear for the employee.  Therefore, none appear in BN32.  Are employees somehow able to enroll for dependent benefits in ESS without adding dependents, or is there a glitch in Lawson
