Annual Enrollment Error Message

Has anyone ever seen this one before Warning: Your benefits have not been fully updated. This summary may be incomplete. Please contact your benefits department. The message comes up on the Annual Enrollment Summary. We have Immediate Update set to N on BS01. The employee is required to make an election for every benefit (either coverage or waive). Worker's Comp for out of state

Most of our employees are based in our home state, but some are able to work remotely and do so from another state.  Our Tax and Payroll manager has requested us to udpate the job code with the Worker's Comp class for out of state, but doing so would impact everyone attached to that code. HSA

I'm looking for some guidance on setting up an HSA for the first time effective 1/1/14. We are on 9.0.1 and it seems like I can either choose to do a RS benefit plan or a deduction for the employee (and another deduction if the employer contributes). Is there any guidance or documentation any has on set-up, best practices, and/or lessons learned Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Roth Reimbursements and County Taxes

EMSS version 10

Hi, We are using Lawson 9.0.1 and ESS 9. We are planning to upgrade to ESS version 10 and Lawson told me that we do not need to upgrade to Infor 10. Automation of BN101, PA100, BN100, LP100

We are looking at trying to automate the running of BN101, PA100, BN100 and LP100s.  Are you running those jobs on a schedule  What issues have you found  What date do you use in the dates on each of the job  We currently use the prior days date for the PA100, BN100, LP100 and the first of the next month for the BN101.

Annual Enrollment vs New HIre Enrollment

Our plan years start on Jan 1. We will have annual enrollment through ESS open from 11/11/13 to 11/30/13. We also have new hire enrollment through ESS. Employees have until the last day of the month to enroll. So for employees that are hired between Oct 2 and November 1, they can enroll in 2013 benefits until November 30 and we are testing whether or not they can enroll as a new hire and also for 2014 benefits through annual enrollment in ESS. pR85 Escheat sub-status

Does anyone know what effect changing a sub-status to escheat does on PR85 We are trying to find out if it creates anything that passes to the GL but we aren't seeing anything. There isn't a whole lot in the documentation that I have been able to find.

Bad File Status

I am writing a custom program and it's my first time writing a report i 4GL. My program is in recovery mode due to bad file status 4 8 on file LPCAPFHL-file. I am able to write to the first report (dtl-empbal) with no problem. However, I have issues with creating a second report. Wellness Plan Credits

Trying to setup a wellness plan where employee's receive a pre-tax wellness credit that will be subtracted from their total pre-tax health premium cost if they participated in the plan (we would get a list from the provider and I'm guessing mass load participants to UDEF in order to track and create groups).  I'm not seeing much information about setting up a wellness plan with credits.  I am trying to test lifestyle credit option (HR11) but, this seems to have limitations.  Does anyone else off...

Supplemental Life Plan

I am trying to test an Employee Voluntary Life plan in our test environment.  This was set up on PR14 directly as opposed to being set up as a benefit plan.  We want to set up Employee, Spouse and Child Life plans for 1/1/14 so I am trying to test this now.  I added the plan and I am getting an error message each time I try to add the benefit.  In test, I made the effective date 11/1/13.  What am I missing

W4 Exemptions

In Lawson there is a way to handle exempting employees completely from federal tax without PR having to manually exempt them  When we prepare the incentive payments, employees have the option of exempting the federal tax from the payment.  However, they have to contact PR, fill out manually a W4 and send it to them.  They then manually exempts the employee and then once the payment is processed has to reverse the exemption.  Is there an easier way to handle this

Besides modifying the interface file from Lawson to ADP, is there a way to combine the state and local taxes for Maryland  ADP is requiring that they are all combined versus sending them separately in the file. Thanks!

Need to reverse incorrect termination info

Hi all, Hoping the forum can assist with this issue.  I'm encountering an error when I try to reverse a termination that was keyed in PA52 and activated by the PA100.  Here's the scoop: The employee termed on 6/25/2008. On 9/15/2011 a mass upload was performed to PA52 to change job codes, and his record was included in that update. Termed employee moving out of US

We have a termed employee that moved to Australia. We don't have Australia set up as a Country so we can't set up his address properly on HR11. I'm guessing that setting up a country would involve BSI. Is it really worth it to go through all of this effort to just make sure we can have the correct address show up on the W2 Or is it easier than I think

BN screen security

We are adding some of our affiliates to Lawson for benefits and payroll processing.  Each affiliate will have its own process level within our main HR company.  We are struggling with the best way to allow access to only the BN15 plan codes that apply to each affiliate.  The process level field does not exist on BN15. HR14.1 addins for changing records

timerecords disappeared during payroll cycle

Today in the middle of the payroll cycle (Pr140 had been run in report only) all of the timerecords disappeared. No one in payroll or IS ran PR45 to delete time records. Is there any other way that timerecords could have been deleted by someone that didn't have table write access Is there any way to see who else might have accessed PR45
