Good morning,
At our organization, a request came in to change verbiage in Employee Self-Service Lawson to read: You may open up to 4 account(s) to \"6 accounts.\"
Through research, the path to update the verbiage should be /lawtest/apps/web/lawson/xhrnet/xml/lang/enus, where the code should live. I have been unable to get the verbiage to update.
Got stuck on message 543 in the ddmsgs.xml. I am not sure where the value is coming from
I have also found the following information online:
Access Wed Direct Deposit Rules (HS06.1).
Specify this information:
Maximum Number of Accounts
Specify the maximum number of accounts employees can split their payroll amount into.
You can specify 1 to 99 accounts.
Partial Allowed
Select whether an employee can have a portion of his/her check deposited into an account, and a portion delivered as a check.
If you select Yes, the employee can have full or partial ACH Deposits.
If you select No, the employee must deposit his/her whole check through direct deposit.
Can anyone be able to help me out with how to properly update the verbiage for the number of accounts, where it accurately displays in the Employee Self Service Portal?
Thank you so much for your assistance.

The number is calculated as the number you have on hs06 minus the number set up for the employee. So if hs06 is 6, and employee has 4 set up already, message will say you can open up to 2 accounts. The verbiage really should say “you have 4 accounts set up already and can add up to 2 more, for a total of 6”.

John,
Thank you for the response.
The ticket I received from my workplace stated the following " we have already updated the information in HRIS side of Lawson side but the Verbiage when you log into Employee Self Service did not change - we need to get it updated."
The actual verbiage can be found in the ddmsgs.xml file under the Lawson directory, but I cannot get the value to update properly.
Do you know where I would navigate to properly change the number value?
Thank you,
Chad
