Turn Landmark Security off/on?

    David Williams reminded me of this wording:

    "Yes, it is possible to turn off security in Landmark but there are warnings in all the documents that say that data will not be encrypted and basically saying it’s a really bad idea."

    Given that, does anyone know how to actually turn it off (and on)?

      In Rich Client under the GEN product area type Security Activation in the search box. Once your in Security Activation you can right click on the product area and see the options.

        Thanks Jim - this looks great!

        I see these choices when clicking Open:
        - All Access
        - No Access
        - Process Rules
        - On
        - Off

        Any thoughts on what each of these mean? For example, how would All Access be different from Off?
        And is On the same as Process Rules?

          Not sure. We have only used Process Rules or All Access(In test only).

            Thanks - that helps a lot!

            The value for Parameter "Security Status" right now is "Process Rules".
            I'll swap between that and "All Access", which certainly sounds like just what I wanted.
            I'll post it here if we learn anything else!
