Hello, I was wondering if anyone else have written their own scripts, or have developed a method of taking Lawson's custom EM and fax files and integrating them in to their own network for sending email or faxes. ie. $Lawdir\\Email\* I am just curious to what other companies are doing in order to parse these files and then email/fax them out to clients / users / etc. The Lawson fax integrator is out of the question. Our IS Security team is enforcing us to update Java across our entire corporation. One of the servers we need to do is our LSF server, which is running version 10.0.5.0 on Java 1.6.0_43. I am looking for assistance (guidance) with an SSL certificate renewal procedures. Our SSL cert for our Lawson portal is due to expire on 10/30/2015. We have never done a SSL cert renewal on Websphere before (total noobies). We did an upgrade from v9 to v10. They are on separate servers but on Windows 2008. Now after we brought users to v10, NT ID's of users on v9 and v10 do not match therefore creating mixup of users in old records. So when we run HR105 on v10, we see different users on a report, that's because NT id of users on v9 are not the same as on v10. We recently conducted a DR test where we failed over to alternate hardware (Windows) and then moved back to the original servers. When we moved back to the original hardware, we are seeing that the RQC Approval link was missing. Due to  OS issue we need to migrate our Lawson environment to a brand new node. The new node will have same IP, hostname and same OS version. We are running Lawson on AIX 6.1, WebSphere 7 and Oracle 11g. All are on same AIX box. Our host team will copy everything over from current node to the new node. We are currently on LSF 10.0.5 and I want to get us up to 10.0.7 this spring/summer so that we can move to SQL 2014.  I see that I am going to have to upgrade my java from jdk6 to jdk7 and it looks like some of the newest Landmark pieces would like us to be on WebSphere 8.5.5.     I have never upgraded WebSphere before - I have only done new installs and fixpacks.  Does anybody know the best way to upgrade WebSphere   thanks   Jon

Hi All, We are heavy users of jobdump/jobload at the command line, particularly for jobs that require path configuration (like PR530).  Sometimes we would like to be able to delete the batch job setup for a user from the command line in a similar way so we can clean up the job tables for reporting purposes.  Is there some way to do this Example - delete all jobs (or a specific job) for a terminated user.   Thanks!  Kelly

Would someone know what would be the best way to have programmers be notified when a job fails I have a program ED501 scheduled in recdef. This program goes into the recovery queue and all the jobs go into waiting and we don't know until the next day when orders did not come in.

I am a bit of a newbie to Lawson. We are looking to upgrade from v9 to v10 this year. We have heard that SharePoint is required to run the new Mingl.e portal, but if we do not plan to use Mingl.e and use SmartOffice instead do we still need to install SharePoint Will it still be required for the reporting dashboard   Thanks for any help you can give.

Is there a way to see what distribution groups may be associated with job(s) via a report or dump per user or  job name   I know I can use jobprmprt to show parameters but I'd like to know if any of the jobs are automatically distributed.   I hope that is clear.   Thanks for your help.
