Has anyone upgraded their IBM TDS 6.0 to v6.1 or v6.2  I know v6.0 is decommissioned in November 2010.  If so, how difficult was it  We're on Windows 2003, LSF 9 ESP6 MSP 4.

We just completed the MKS removal and LUU install on our windows 2003 (sql 2005) lawson server (env 9.0.0.8) We have noticed that when users print jobs to physical printers they are taking much longer to spool and print. In prtdef we use a CAT command to redirect print jobs to a 'virtual printer', so we can correctly format the final print job. We need to install an environment patch that appears to include every security-related jar, war, and ear file there is.  There doesn't seem to be any info related to what is actually changed, just which JT's are addressed.  We (and especially our users) don't really have time to 'test everything', so what is your best practice AIX 6.1, 901ESP8, 901appsMSP6 Thanks for any ideas

We have a new printer installed. It was setup just like our other printers. Initially it wouldn't print landscape only portrait. Now it won't print anything. The admin we have now is not that familar with Lawson and our current documentation is sketchy at best. All other people with information on setting printers up have left.  Any suggestions on where we should check

I have a productline in a test environment that was created as a copy of a production productline.  I have created an entirely new schema in Oracle using expdp and impdp to copy an entire schema from one database to another, renaming the schema in the target database. After running sysload, ldprodmenus, etc... I then open up dbdef, create a new Database Space definition and assign it to the DataArea/Data ID. Hi All, One of user is reporting that she is not able to log in to Lawson, frequently her password is getting expired/corrupted. I checked her LSA set up and everything looks to be good and also I checked maxage value, everything looks good but not sure whats happening Please suggest and anything suggested will help me a lot.   Regards Sam

We have been getting these messages for the last couple weeks.  We cannot find the cause and of course GSC does not know.  we have not applied any patches or made any changes that would cause this issue.  We are on 9.01 Windows.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. Does anyone know what combination of tables I would query to get a list of the screens and the tables and fields that are used by these screens.

We are in the middle of upgrading our HW / OS / DB to Windows 2008 w/ SQL Server 2008 and are looking for recommendations and/or experience from people with relatively large Lawson databases. I have tried twice now to apply a technology patch to our 9.0.1.8 installation. (Windows).   Both times, when the installer comes up, there is no 'available portal' to select from.  Does anyone have any ideas on what would cause this

I'm testing a 9.0.1.9 upgrade from 9.0.0.x on Win2003 32-bit. All seems to be going well, until the upgrade hits a snag in the install of core technology. Here's the tail end of the install.log. The message, ldifgen bootstrap failed appears to be an issue with the java.security file. But I've already ran all my tests with BouncyCastle and they came up fine. Lawson S3 9.0.1.8, AIX 6.1, Oracle 11.2 - We currently have S3 Back Office, WebSphere, and Oracle DB all residing on one server. We are testing moving Oracle DB off to its own dedicated server. So far testing is showing severely decreased performance. We are seeing an average 50 increase in runtimes on long-running batch jobs. We're seriously looking at moving our current Lawson environment from Windows 2003 to AIX 6.1.  We currently are at LSF 9.0.1 ESP 5 and 901 MSP 4 applications along with Websphere 6.1 fixpack 33.  Has anyone done this change in operating systems  If so, how did it go  What issues did you have

Currently running three tier lawson/web/db on Windows 2003 32 bit. In upgrading Lawson to 64 bit - is there a requirement to upgrade the DB from SQL Server 2005 to 2008 Is the issue connecting the client on the 64 bit machine back to 2005  Trying to filter out MANDATORY vs DESIRED....

I'm running the upgrade from 9.0.x to 9.0.1.x applications. The upgrade runs fine for the base applications, then when it gets to the optional jobs (the ugsql/java jobs), then all go into Needs Recovery. This job log is from the AC980 for example. I am trying to use a syscommand in PFI to call xalan and xsltproc  to parse and XML using XSLT. But I found out that our HPUX box does not even have xalan or xsltproc installed. Does anyone know where to download or how to install xalan and xsltproc on HPUX Box

We have added a 64-bit print server and I am trying to route our Lawson printers through this.   I have added the printers to the server and tested them outside of lawson.  In LID when I try to pring I receive the following error: '0000000000000011p' is not recognized as an internal or external command,operable program or batch file. The print command in prtdef is: lwpp '\\ad-print\IT_HP4250_PCL6' The Lawson server is Windows 2008 R2 Any help is appreciated.

We are using IIS for Web server for our Lawson Portal. When trying to setup IIS plugin for webpshere 7 using IIS 7. I cannot get http_plugin.log file created in the specified directory. It seems plugin-cfg.xml never get read and iisWASPlugin_http.dll not executed. Anyone out there have any advice what could be wrong
