We have been running an old (16 bit) version - 8.0.1.7 without any problems until we found a confict with a new version of shutdown plus that our systems folks want to install. I thought that this would be a good time to upgrade our LID to 9.0.1.3. However it does not seem to support more that one user a time. Once a second user connects we get a 'Timeout failure to initialize univwin32' message. Anyone else out there running LID 9.0.0.x on Citrix

Basic in place upgrade of environment only from 9.0.0.3 to 9.0.1 4. After doing this about 10 users (at least that is how many have reported an issue) cannot get to their print manager. It is kicking back and unknown error into IOS from the printmanager servlet. Additionally if another user tries to open one of these user's print jobs it kicks out the error as well. Hi, Has anyone devised a method to call in an SQL from Lawson and return data  We are trying to create an iquiry form for the end user to look up data.  For example the manufacture but we would like to query stripping the special characters such as hyphens, etc... LSF9 on Windows 2003, Websphere 6.1 Fix pack 19. The latest fix pack for Websphere is 33.  The Websphere installer version 7.0 is needed for this fix pack. I have heard of a couple of Lawson clients having issues with performance on ESP 6 with a close_wait issue with hung threads in websphere. Is this being seeing by others

We have just installed Lawson 9.0.1 on our iseries boxes. With Lawson 8 we were able to lock down our libraries/objects to *PUBLIC *EXCLUDE by ensuring adopted authority was setup correctly within all the Lawson libraries. Lawson actually had documentation to do this. Lawson is now saying that Adopted Authority is not possible in Lawson 9. Another consultant told me that the only way to lockdown to *PUBLIC *EXCLUDE would be to put 'LAWSON' as a supplemental profile on all our individual user...

AIX, Lawenv 9.0.0.6 I am trying to recycle websphere 6.1 Lawson environment is up and running OK. I have recycled the environment in the correct order. On command line, I start up the node agent successfully. I have a brand new install of LSF 9.0.1.6 on HP-UX 11.31 with WebSphere 7.0, Tivoli 6.2, and Oracle 11gR2. After the 9.0.1.6 base install I was able to complete all smoke tests successfully and everything appeared fine. When I try to install a LCT patch the install fails during the activation of LDAS. I have attached the portion of the install.log where the errors occur. Has anyone else had problems installing patches

After I got that up, complete with product line (no users other than the 4 Lawson provides) I ran the ldapbind process to complete the test environment install. When I attempt to log into MSAdd-ins I get the 'Error 602 - User or Password'. When I attempt to log into LSA I get 'Server app-fis9-connexus The operation timed out'. In the past I've bounced the server and then all was well.  But that didn't work this time. 'pfserv test testGroupIOS' fails also.  Thankfully our Portal is working.  All is working fine on our Test Server, and so that's available for comparison purposes.  Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.  Gracias.

In our attempt to separate normal Portal traffic from other traffic, we have set up 2 application clusters and 2 virtual hosts (in addition to default_host) in WebSphere.  One of the clusters is intended for normal Portal users, and the other is intended to handle data calls from MSCM.  I have found that all traffic is being handled by one of the clusters, and the other one is idle.  I have been doing some research and I think the problem is in my assignment of ports to the different virtual hos...

I have an old 7.3 version of Lawson running on a unix box I want to retire. The 7.3 software no longer exists and the data is seldomly used. I would like to migrate this to a non-lawson database, any requests for data could be done via sql or crystal.  Has anyone had a similar experience or any suggestions.  Thanks.

I would like to enable (temporarily) more detailed WebSphere logging on our non-production system.  I would like to be able to see that a session has been created on a specific appserver, for instance.  I see logging options under the Troubleshooting menu but I'm not sure where to go from there.  Any suggestions

I am trying to set up a black box service from Lawson portal to our API (timeclocks) portal.  I am not having luck, Has anyone ever set up a black box service like this.  It looks like the SSO call is trying to authenticate, but I am missing something in the setup.  Any documentation would be appreciated.
