I know what people are attached to a specific role and what security classes are attached to that specific role.  My problem is finding out from a security class perspective what roles are attached to a specific security class before I make a change to the security class.  Then I would know who all would be affected by the change.

Hi Debra, When you're in the Security Admin tool looking at the list of Security Classes: - Click ONCE on the Security Class (it turns yellow) - At the top, click the tab which reads: "Roles Assigned" That pops up a list of all available Roles on the left, and the ones assigned to your Security Class on the right. You can add or remove Roles from your SecClass using the arrow buttons right here! Regards, Dave (303) 773-3535

Nice Dave!  I never knew it was that easy.  I always ran a role/security class report and put into excel to get it.  This is much quicker!

Glad I could help!

Advertisement here (read if you wish): if you'd like to go to the next level (see which Users have which SecClasses, which SecClasses include and/or share screens, which users are using which screens and whether they're changing, inquiring, etc., and then drill all around and through security in S3 or Landmark), the Kinsey reports (www.kinsey.com) are great for that!
