I'm writing some Crystal reports that hit the LBI table.  I want to know when reports are scheduled to run, and when they ran, etc.  I can build performance metrics against this once I can get this info.  Apparently the Quartz Scheduler stores date/time as a number using its own Java method.  The fields in question are in EJS_TRIGGERS -- NEXT_FIRE_TIME, PREV_FIRE_TIME, START_TIME, etc.  Does anyone know the algorithm to use to convert these times  I see big massive numbers instead of anything ...

I need to run a report on all 'OPEN' payment status.  When I view app.pmt-status, OPEN is a valid value, but the field is derived.  How do i find out what data they use to derive the field value  The field appayment.pmt-status is not available to choose in a report, i am assuming because it is derived.

Does anyone know which table holds the Default Permissions for reports We have been struggling with intermittent issues where the 'Ability to view with refresh data and view with saved parameters' gets unchecked. I'm using the query builder for oleDB object services to bring the Lawson print file and format it in crystal. I used the oleDB object builder for CU201, MM280 etc it worked. I heard that in LBI 10.5 that all Crystal reports have to be OLE DB. Can someone confirm this We have many reports using SQL and Views and to convert all of them would be very time consuming. Hoping ODBC will work with 10.5 Thank you, Dan

We have DS code that funs a PO120 job and pops up the report in LSR format. It is working in our dev environment but not in our QA environment. Although, if I run it in PDF format (comment out the LSR line below and activate the PDF line), it brings it up in .PDF format fine. We have more than 5000 LBI users configured in Lawson back office with LBIUser group. However, We only got around 5000 users propagated over to LBI. Any help how to resolve the issue is much appreciated.

We are cleaning up our dashboards and want to track the report usage. We are on LBI 10.2.0.0.126 and have elected to allow dashboard audit. We want to prepare a report that can be run on demand to track the report usage. Does anyone have any suggestions Thank you. Donna Shelton

We're currently running LBI version 10.1 (a little behind, I admit), and are wanting to get updated to the latest and greatest. Problem is there's some confusion with versions and licenses, specifically when talking about Infor BI (or Infor BI for Lawson)... It looks like 10.6 is the latest, but we're being told it's a separate product at that point and that there would be a change in our license terms. So ultimately my question is: what is the latest version that is still technically 'LBI'...

We are trying to use a Lawson report as a data source in crystal. We have the URL and are able to publish that to LBI. But ultimately we would like to use the report to create a larger report in Crystal which we could then publish in LBI. When we upgrade to v10, we are moving from Oracle Solaris (Unix) and Oracle DB to Windows and MS-SQL. We have 700 reports. What is the best practice to get the reports converted to MS-SQL from Oracle Doing this all on go-live weekend is not acceptable. I am exploring the capabilities of the Dashboard in LBI. We leverage them regularly today. Several of the items on our dashboards are bursted LBI reports to managers. I'd like to be able to burst an Excel document to managers, and have that be available on a dashboard. I have a Crystal report that reads Lawson files and a .csv file. When I publish it to LBI it asks for User Id and password regardless of the options I choose in Data Settings. I have done this with .xls files and there is an option in Crystal under Verify Database for Secure Login and I make sure that is unchecked but I don't get that option in this report.

Hi, We are using Lawson Portal 9.0.1 at our workplace and we always have issue with report not showing proper format in pdf. When we run report using RW100 and then go to view options PDF-landscape, it does not show all the columns in the report. I am attaching a file that shows example of this on page 1. I use the device type 'Network Drive' to export files and place them in the exact folder another system uses to import the file. My problem is several systems need the files named specifically with the current date in the name. I know the Report Name is what's used for the file name when it's exported, which I don't like but can live with. As part of preparations, we would like to understand LBI report utilization, that is, how frequently are our 400 LBI reports in Production being used. Knowing this information will help us better prepare and prioritize our work.
