We created perl scripts in Lawson 8.0 for Employee SelfService. I am trying to run a perl script thur LSF9 portal. Having a problem executing the perl Modules.

Plus I need to capture the employee ID  from Lawson Security in my script.

The script runs fine from the server. Not able to run from portal as a bookmark.

I have a similar question. I have some custom forms, that used to be tied to a custom menu. One of the way to handle that in the portal is to create shortcut to that menu. Which works, but how would you go about making these interface/custom forms available via search? So if my custom forms start with ZRxxx for AR system code, if I type ZR in the search, I want to get all the ZRXX forms with the names available.

The other question is about ftp (winptxfr). How do you go about making this function avaiable via portal. Do you simply write a js or html upload page? Wanted to see what are some of the best-practices other people are using to address this issue when going form 8.0.x to 9.0.x and using portal and discontinue LID altogether?

      Thanks.

First of all, you would need an xml file created to access your script from a bookmark.
See my response to Lorena @ Lawson Business Inteligence | Crystal Report | Archive Lawson Backoffice Reports beginning with "If you do not want to schedule something"
          And the following examples.
          More questions, please inquire.

Hi Greg - I can get as far as LBI | Crystal Reports then the links to the pages 2-6 and the Next and Last button do nothing to advance the view through the following pages to find this explaination you describe above. All attempts leave to screen 1 of the view of discussions. Is there any direct way to get there? Like wise I am trying to execute a shell script from a short cut button and not having success.

Try this link... Sorry it took me a while to get back to you... our email police stop the notifications coming back to me as "spam" and I can't get this site whitelisted.
