Forgive me because I didn't read every post on this forum (so I don't know if it's already been posted), but just an FYI -  this is a great link for pre-defined add-ins uploads, many have been updated for 9.0. Using add-ins with Excel 2010

Our IT department is planning to upgrade our company from Office 2007 to Office 2010 and from Windows XP to Windows 7. I know that the add-in is not certified to run on Excel 2010; but I've been testing it and it seems to work except for the fact that the login dialog box does not retain the server and username. Has anyone else found this as well

MS Addins Query GLAMOUNTS amounts in excel as text

We are querying the GLMAMOUNTS table using Lawson MS Addins MS Excel is treating all the monthly gl amounts as text. We have tried setting the format tab to Accounting1-4 and applying to all rows, but this doesn't affect the amounts only the other fields such as the company and other accounting string numbers. Is there a way in either MS Addins query wizard or excel to default these to numbers.  In large queries, using excel to change convert to numbers takes quite a bit of time. Thanks, Sh...

Add-Ins FATAL ERROR

Our users are experiencing a FATAL ERROR: UNKNOWN ERROR when trying to use the Add-ins tool.  About a year and a half ago, we had this same issue and had to apply patch JT-453953, which corrected the issue. Add-Ins upload in MS Excel 2010

We are using Infor Lawson 10.0.5.  In the past we were able to successfully use MS Excel 2010 for add-in uploads.  It never used to matter what order the columns were in on the spreadsheet because you defined the fields to use for the upload.  We are now being told that you have to have the columns in the sequential order of the fields to be uploaded.  Apparently now when they are not in the 'right' order we get a fatal error on the upload.  Does anyone have any experience with this issue

GLTRANS attributes

We have 3 source codes that post to the General Ledger with GLTRN object attribute values.  One has one attribute; this is easy.  The other two use the maximum three attributes.  Is there a way to run a GLTRANS query with all three attributes without triplicating the records (Using OTM set at 3 we can get all three attributes in the query but it provides the actual records once for each attribute. This results in triplicate data if the transaction had all three attributes for that system code.)...

MS Add Ins Upload Template for BN36.1

Hi - Does anyone have a MS Add Ins template for BN36.1  We are eliminating one of our current investment vendors and adding that distribution to our one existing vendor.  So, if an employee has any distribution in vendor A, we want to end that plan and now give the employee 100 distribution in Vendor B.

automated scheduled uploads

I am a new user and currently in the implementation stage of Lawson HR system. We have been told that we can automate the HR daily nightly scheduled uploads using VB or javascript. Can someone point us in that direction like any example, documentation or anything which might be helpful for us to understand or start on the correct path Thanks a lot in advance.

Add-In not uploading to vendor master maintenance?

We have a user who is trying to do an upload to the vendor master using excel add ins. She has rebuilt her add-in and tried without success.   When she runs the upload it states upload complete but the data doesnt add or change, and no results post on the excel spreadsheet.   She tried another type of upload just for fun (a journal header) and this one worked fine and updated the spreadsheet with the result.   Any thoughts

GL Distrib and Vendor Details

I am having trouble pulling a GL query that includes vendor details.  I am being asked to pull information that reconclies to a GL balance but it needs to include vendor , vendor name and invoice on the query.  I have found a way to get vendor and invoice on the query but I can't seem to get the vendors name on the query.  Any assistance is appreciated.

Error 1404 when installing add-ins

I am a local admin of the workstation.  I am right clicking and choosing: Run as administrator. During the install, this error comes up:  'Error 1404.  Could not delete key \software\classes.  Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.'  Options appear of Abort, Ignore, Retry.  If I ignore, the add-ins appear to install and show up in Excel, but not accessible. Runing Word 2010, and addins for version 10. Assistance appreciated.

Missing MAP COLUMNS in Upload Wizard

Periodically, when I log into my Lawson Upload Wizard the MAP COLUMNS piece is blank that allows me to select the service and screens.  Each time I need to build a new upload, I have to have my add-ins repaired.  Is this a common issue  Is there a more permanent 'fix' available

Add-ins for PO31

Has anyone ever successfully added a line in PO31 using add-ins that actually tied to the original PO number and PO line number I have been able to add the line with all the other relevant data, but for some reason I cannot get the upload to recognize those fields. I am using: f56 PTL-ORIG-PO-NR1, f57 PTL-PRIG-PO-REL1, f58 PTL-ORIG-PO-CODE1, and f59 PTL-ORIG-PO-LN-NBR1.

Add-ins ver 10.0.5 install problem (with Office 2013)

Trying to install ver 10.0.5 of the Lawson Add ins, to use with Office 2013.  This user had not used the add-ins since last year, when she used an older version (with O ffice 2010), but has since upgraded to 2013 and her old version would not work.  So she downloaded the 10.0.5 version, and tried to install it (run as admin) and is getting this error: Error 2755. Addins query for AC295 data

Add-in PO25.6 trouble

'Authorisation' for Addins

Hi we have a user who cannot access Lawson Addins on his machine though they are all there.  We have raised with IT but they believe the access is correct.  The login screen comes up (and the login is fine on portal) but the following pops up when trying to log in: 'You do not have authorisation to use the Lawson addins. Add in Query for AP Data

I have written an add in query for AP data with the below fields. This query works but due to a condition within the criteria it is excluding non-PO invoices. I need to see both PO and non-PO invoices.
