I use uploads for BN32 and BN72. Recently I noticed that my upload did not affect the correct benefit on an employee record. When mapping Excel columns to the correct LAWSON detail field, I have always used the 'r0' option. If the 'r0' option if selected (e.g., '_f24:r0,PTB-COV-OPTION1') then LAWSON will update detail row 0 (which is the 1st row of detail records). We upload 1000s of transactions monthly for Payroll via addins to PR35.2. If a leave record is uploaded with a tr date prior to the master entry date on LP31 then two messages are returned ERR:EE46903 not in plan, LEAV WRN:EE46903 inactive, LEAVE LP:ECS LEAV. However, the addin itself returns add complete continue in the results field even though the record wasn’t uploaded. My company has several thousand existing assets in Lawson that need to have an additional book added to them. I was wondering if there was any way to upload this change via a MS Add-in. I've tried building a few upload templates but seem to be having issues with the hidden keys or transferring to AM20.9. Any suggestions

Does anyone know of a way to upload comments to IC18.1 I have many items that need comments put in and I can use the Add-Ins wizard to create the comment in IC18 but do not see any way to actually upload the comments themselves. It is very time consuming to have to click on 'Has Comments' for every item and manually enter them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think one of the nice things about Lawson/Infor is Microsoft Add-ins and Spreadsheet Designer. Is it at all possible to use these against other SQL databases to load tables

Anyway knows how to upload the RQ10  I have 2 excel files, one is the header for the RQ, another file is the lines' detail for each RQ.  How to do the upload if the lines have more than 5 items,  in fact,  we have 10 -50 lines for each RQ. Thank you for your help.

I've worked in a few Lawson environments, but the one I'm currently in seems to be very slow when using add-ins for uploading things like GL entries or even simply changing a flag on AP10.1 records. I'm talking about 1.8 records per second. At my previous places, I've seen something like 7-10 per second. Can others chime in with what they're seeing as well as their system setup like database, Unix or Windows, version, etc... Thank you.

When I launch the login menu for Lawson add-ins, the server & user id information is not retained from my previous login.  (It can be rather annoying to have to type this information everytime I access add-ins.)  I would also like to retain the password also or avoid the login prompt, if possible.  Security is not an issue because the spreadsheet that I launch the add-ins from is stored on my local drive and password protected.    Any ideas or help on the server & user information or the logi...

Our finance department uses the GL40 upload template that was available on the mylawson download sight years ago. I am trying to create an upload for IC12.1 and IC12.2, but I am getting an error when the Automatic Purchasing Flag is set to Y on IC12.1.  Is there a way to use the same upload to update both IC12.1 and IC12.2 or am I going to have to have separate uploads for each and then go back and update the flag on IC12.1  Does anyone have one that they would be willing to share  We are on version 10.0.2.  Thank you.

All I am trying to create an upload routine to be allow the end users to Upload the Budget directly. Have been able to creat the Budget Header, but when trying to load the Budget detail (simulating FB20.1) keep getting 'Field Is Required' errors. We have started populating some GTIN information into Lawson IC11.7.  I am trying to query IC11.7 (ICITEMGTIN) to return those items that have a GTIN number and its UOM.  When i run the query, the only thing that returns in the GTIN and UOM Fields are hashmarks () for the number of digits in the field.  We are on Lawson 9.0.1.9.153 and Addidns version 9.0.3.1488.  What am i missing to have this information populate correctly I'm actually querying IC11 (ITEMMAST) with a relation to ICITEMGT...
