I have created an add-in upload for IC24, that adds the headers then I go back and do a change only to add all the lines but now need to do a mass release.  I tried to add another upload to do a change with the FC code of R and that does not work.  Any one doe this or something on a similar screen that needs a header, details, then needs to be released

Hello - How DO I use Special functions in MOA's upload wizard. For eaxmple, PO31 has special functions like copy, cancel etc.  We are working on inventory clearence and I may need to upload more then 10,000 records to PO31 using special actions.

This seems to me it would be a simple query, but I can't pull all of the info that I need.  I want a simple list of any open checks for a particular cash code, along with the vendor Name and address for mailing due diligence letters.  Does anyone have any suggestions

When we run a particular query from our MOA install on Citrix, we notice that there are some missing records returned. Just for grins, I tried running the MOA query from a local install.  This returned all records that qualified.  (*There were 5 records returned on the local install that just never were for the Citrix install.) I have created a new company and added the accounting untits with add-ins, but now I am challenged with adding all the old company employees into the new company.  I thought I could extract the data from the Employee table, but there are so many lines that add-ins pul 100 lines at a time and not I'm not so sure that is the right route to go. Does anyone have any ideas either about using add-ins or a Lawson template to expedite the process

Has anyone been able to use/create an upload to BN81  I'm able to add records to BN81 but am still trying to get the Release function to work.   Any help would be appreciated.

Can someone tell me what this addins error may mean - Filter cannot begin with '&' or '|' We just moved to apps v901, and queries that have never had problems are now returning this error.  Seems to happen most often if I try to use criteria that is any option other than '='.  I'm on the most recent add-ins version Thanks in advance - I'm almost bald from pulling my hair out over this one!!

I am trying to build a DME query that will return a variety of fields from the EMPLOYEE and PAEMPLOYEE tables, but I need to include a number of either Constant fields (such as 'P') or blank fields. For the blank fields I could try to find a table field that is always blank that that seems kind of tacky and dangerous. Any suggestions. Hello, I'm new to Lawson. I work with addins while maintain the Item/Vendor Masters... Every once in a while a special character gets loaded into the Lawson database that is not on our excel worksheet or it is hidden.  We make every effort to copy and paste using Puretext and we remove spaces but these characters are still introduced.  I wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue and what they did to resolve the problem. We were on Windows XP, Office 2010, and when I did a query, it brought back the data in excel and displayed correctly.  We recently upgraded laptops to Windows 7.  Now when I do same query, it brings back data and displays dates as number. It only does this for me.  It doesn't do that on another person laptop who was give Windows 7. Has anybody seen or experienced this  Any suggestions on what I can do to stop this Thanks

I am trying to go through the DME query wizard in MS Addins to produce a DME query for an infoset that I want to create.  I am using the S3 query wizard and selecting database tables as the query source.  I go through and select the tables and fields that I want to return and add the criteria under the criteria tab.  However, when I click the view string icon at the top of the dialog box, the entire query string is not being shown. We are still using LAUA/LID. I can directly update the Phone Number on HR11 in our Dev and Prod environments/product lines. I can us Add-Ins to update the Phone Number through HR11 in our Dev environment/product line but I get a 'Security violation' return message in our Prod environment/product line.
