So we just got the LSF9 environment, and I just found out that one of the things that changed is the method of authentication for DME queries. In the 8.0.3 environment, basic HTTP authentication was used, which is very easy to navigate using perl. However, in the LSF9 environment, the DME authentication switched to the Lawson server side auth, which is basically requiring a login to the same login form that normal users have to log into Portal with. we are currently 8.03 sitting on 9.0lsf and use Ghx as our provider for EDI. We currently became a tax company and we seem to have a problem at month end with out of balance for AP due to tax. I'm looking for assistance with an Lawson excel query. The query pulls employee information (name, work location, pay rate). My problem is trying to get pay rate information 'as of' a defined date. My query currently pulls information on employees that were employed on the defined date (i.e. 12/31/2008) but its downloading the employees current rate of pay, not their rate of pay on the defined date (i.e. 12/31/2008). Any idea on the query criteria that would solve this problem Thanks

Hello, My goal is to delete the medical plan for a group of ee's and add it back.  I used Lawson's KB 521719 to determine the required fields for mapping, but I get the following message: Invalid Date: BEN-STOP-DATE1.  I've changed the format of the date from YYYYMMDD to MMDDYY to MMDDYYYY and nothing is working.

We just upgrade to LSF 9, and are on 8.1 apps.  Add-in queries are painfully slow now and many times won't finish (queries that ran in less than a minute are now running 30 minutes).   Any ideas what might be causing this  Seems to be particularly with add-in queries that are using more than one table.  Thanks

One of our users has queries set up by a former consultant that uses ACTRANS as the base table and fields from related tables APDISTRIB, CBDISTRIB, and GLTRANS. Prior to running the queries this month, the user was getting correct data.  She doesn't remember making any changes to the query and now she is getting multiple duplicate records.  The file was only 6k lines last month and now is 60k. I use Tools--> Add-Ins menu in Excel to add Lawson query wizard. It works but after I close Excel and re-open it, the query wizard Add-In does not show up in Excel. I have to go to Tools--> Add-Ins menu to add the Lawson query wizard everytime when I open Excel. Please advise. Thanks.

Gurus, We just upgraded to LSF 9015 and Apps 9012.  We are now having issues with our MS Add-Ins.  Lawson has provided us with several updated versions of Add-Ins to correct different issues, but we are still receiving the below error.  The biggest issue is that there is no good way to track what is going wrong.  I have reviewed the system logs including ios, the Websphere logs, and the log generated by Add-Ins itself.  None have shown any issues.  Any ideas on how to correct or at least how to...
