Does anyone know how to resolve this error. At first we thought it needed a price but we have a price and PO's have gone out with price.
Any thoughts?
It depends on what version of MSCM you are on. In older versions there was a bug that would cause this error when an item moved from stock to non-stock. We installed 9.0.0.12 patch 24 recently in production. The ones we've looked at since have been items that are not on a contract and have not been ordered or recieved since we upgraded to Apps 9. When MSCM gets an error, it will not close the requistion. Try adding the item to the open req, if you get the same error you know your problem is item set up.
Assuming you have everything set up correctly, and are getting this error in MCSM (or IC83), there is a recent CTP (for 9.0 apps it is CTP 65211) for IC83 that resolves it this error when stock on hand is zero but there is an average cost.
