Hi
I am new to using Lawson and have not been trained on the software. I am used to using Peoplesoft. I have access to the back tables to run queries in MS Access.
That ebing said, I was told by Lawson support that there is not a report that will produce this report. The report need to include a breakdown of the unemployment report breaking it down by worksite location which is the location code located on the HR11 Assignment tab.
The report need to reflect by company, by location the employee count by the 12 (that untilemately equal to the over 3 month employee count thats on the unemployment report. and the taxable wages it reflect.
The information is similar to the PR291 detail but it need to include the location address to put on the form.
Does anyone know if there is an MS Access template I should use or the tables that i can you to get this result.
I am not a Lawson Guru so if you know what i can do please explain in lame terms.
Thanks for your responding to my post.

Hi Bridgette,
Welcome to the Lawson community.
There are a couple of ways you could approach this report:
1. Since you have table access, you can get this data from PAYMASTR (one record per employee/payment)/PRTIME (wage details for each payment)/PRWEEKS (weeks worked by emply/quarter/work state). The location info is in PCODES/PCODESDTL with TYPE=LO. I won't go into the details about how to join it all together. This can be done either with Access or Crystal.
2. Another approach I have used with clients when a Lawson report has most data is to use Crystal reports combined with the Lawson OLEDB (assuming the client has those tools). Using the Lawson OLEDB, the PR291 report is the primary data source for the report and is joined to the PCODES/PCODESDTL table to get the extra data.

Thanks. I will try that today with MS Access and see what happens.
