My client is acquiring a company that is running Lawson, we need to maintain their current Company/PL setup for purposes of benefits/PA and downstream/upstream integration points however we also need to change the EIN under which the employees are working/rolling up for W2 purposes. Currently there are 15 PL's rolling up to 1 Head PL (PR09) and another 4 PL's rolling to another Head PL, so 2 EIN's. I've created a new PL, flagged it as independent and gone to PR09 and deleted the relationship between the detail PL's and their Head PL and added them to the new Head PL.
This "seems" to be working fine, I've created manual checks and validated that the report entity listed in the PR tables s the new Head PL.
