When viewing prior pay checks, ESS gives a message that says: "There is no payment information for September 23, 2007 through September 23, 2008." Similarly, when trying to look at year to date, it gives a message that says: "There is no year-to-date information."
If logged in as another user with identical roles (LS9) there is no issue. Any insight would be deeply appreciated.

When I am trying to debug problems like this, my first step is to first see what is working to narrow down the options of places to troubleshoot.
My first step to look into this would be to look at the actual database table that the ESS app is accessing to build up that screen. Now, I'm on 8.0.3, but I'd guess the table would be the same in 9. The table that has the payment information is:
paymastr
This is the file that is referenced in the ESS javascript code for the Online Paystubs (hrnet/paytyear.html) initial Payment Listing screen that you are referring to.
So if you use that same employee, do an add-ins query on the paymastr table (under PR) using the company and employee as your key, do you see any CHECK-DATE values that are within the date range you mentioned?

I am getting the same error, were you able to resolve this issue? I looked in the payments table and the employee do have checks for that pay period.

Don't know if this helps, but the "Paychecks" Task displays only payments for 1 year from the current date. Use the YTD task to view any payments older than a year.
