What is the best way to handle the setup for employees exempt from the employer portion of FICA as defined by the HIRE Act?

We are not expecting that we will have that many eligible ... (in our environment) So we are just going to manually adjust the 941 each quarter. If you have a bunch you might need a better solution.
Have you opened a ticket with Lawson yet?

Thanks for your reply. I opened a case with Lawson yesterday and they are working on a solution. They instructed to watch their website for updates.

Lawson has issued a statement of direction on mylawson.com for this topic. For now, we are going to add employees to the group as we receive their W-11s and place T's in their PR14 records. This of course is subject to change as we learn more about the government requirements.

We will do the same with "T" on the PR14, add new employee group, and modify existing custom reports for tax deposits & 941 and new report for the business tax credit.
Just asking, does anyone have 2 employer social security tax codes (or similar)? I'm wondering how Lawson/BSI will handle multiple codes of the same tax with 106800 limit, W2 & SSA file. Someone suggested a dummy tracking code, but I think it would be too cumbersome given this will last another 7 months. Just wondering.
