Do any of you offer a group legal plan (e.g. Hyatt Legal) as part of your benefit package? I felt my only option was to set the plan up as benefit type RS (spending account), there being no "other" benefit type categories. It's creating issues with start and stop dates. Either I've set up the BN15 incorrectly or I shouldn't use this type. If you have been through this and can offer advice, I'd be grateful for it. The guides don't offer any assistance in this specific area and I've spent hours on the KB searching. Thanks!

We are offering the Hyatt Legal plan with our upcoming enrollment. HR has set up the plan on BN15 under type RS with category 12 (Legal Account).

What version are you on? We are on 9.01, and last year Lawson issued a patch to correct issues with the start and stop dates of RS plans. Here's the KB article #5368890.

Thanks, Wendy. Yes, we're on 9.01. My problem with the legal plan just expanded to include my flexible spending accounts! It appears we have not applied that patch. Will deal with that separately. Do you think RS is the appropriate type for a Group Legal benefit? Are there any other options?

We don't have Legal benefits, however we do use RS plans to set up our Union Dues. This allows us to use automatic enrollments and termination rules, and to quickly change contribution amounts. I suggest that you see how the premium calculation options fit your benefit plan. Just a note, we do not use ESS for benefits enrollments, so that would be something else to take into consideration.

I'm surprised how often I hear that. MSS too. We're using both. Thanks again, Wendy.

On an unrelated topic, do you also use LS9 security? If so, can I contact you offline? My email is mgyurisin@summithealth.org.
Thanks in advance.
