Does anyone know if Lawson/Infor will be coming up with a way to track part-time employees that average 30+ hours over a rolling 12 month period?

If not, I'm curious at what others are planning to do to track these part-time employees??

    Thanks,
    Jeff

They do have a session on Sunday at Inforum on ACA.

I wrote a Crystal Report and am in the midst of tweaking it based on decisions as they are made by the gov't agencies.

I asked Lawson about this at a user group meeting. I was told that they are holding off on delivering a solution because they feel the govt requirements may still be evolving. In the meantime, the date to have this in place remains static.

We are building a solution involving identiying the employee "evaluation date", (which would be their 1 yr anniversary for new hires and coincide w/ annual enrollment after that), and then running a daily eligibilty calculation program. When somebody hit their evaluation date, this program would calculate their hours over the eval period and put them in the appropriate benefits eligible employee group if they met the requriements. It gets a little complicated when you start to consider rehires or transfers back and forth between employee statuses that are already benefits eligible. But that's the jist of it. Let me know if you want to discuss further.

Testing new PR271 Lawson report and not getting expected results (total hours includes shift differentials).   Received webinar presentation along with Critical Information but not enough details to established user defined earnings and definitions (ex, "new hire date").   What are you doing for reporting employees reaching 30 hrs of service per month?

I wrote a Crystal report long before the PR271 came out to meet our companies specs. I haven't had a chance to dig into the Lawson delivered program to see if it meets ourneeds.

When I search for PR271 I receive an error mesaage saying the bookmark or program cannot be found. Am I missing something?

Did you install the CTP that delivers the program? Has it been assigned to your security role?

If you applied the CTP, compiled the program and updated your security, did you clear the cache in portal?
