We maintain the occupational med tests (healthcare org) for our employees and we have multiple companies. We are having an issue with combining tests on the active employee record if the employee has worked in both companies. When our employees transfer in between companies, we want to transfer over their employee health tests so it will appear on the active company record for a complete history.
Going forward, we are putting a process in place to make sure the tests get transfered when the transfer takes place. However, our current dilemna in this clean up process is that we haven't been doing that and we currently we can't do a pa49 merge of records to the active company when the active company has tests with a later administered date then the test being added.
For instance, if we have an active company with the latest occ med test dated 3/2010, we can't load the 3/2009 and 3/2008 unless we first delete the 3/2010 test and then reload all 3.As you can imagine this is a very involved process and not without risk. Additionally you loose the maintenace history of who really processed the test to the system when the date stamp and user id update.
Thanks

Julie -
I would like to talk to you about your process for Occupational Health test tracking within Lawson. We are researching the possibility of doing this and would like to understand how you set this up.
Thanks for any help you can offer -
