    Let me start by giving you the end of an email that has brought this up again into my view finder;

    "... managers need to share their direct report access. (We are not a hierarchal model). We share :) "

    This topic has come up a number of times in the 15 years I have worked in HRIS with Lawson and it has always "gone away" without much of a strugle, this time it is not going to, so I am reaching out in hopes someone has some ideas or proven tactic that might make this possible.

    Basically - we have recently implemented full MSS and now managers are required to do data changes with MSS, we also have LBI and reporting dashboards (which are easier to manage multiple access to cost centers).

    Now that leaders are required to do actions on MSS they are finding the hierarcal structure of Lawson to be "stressful", the One employee - One supervisor theory is not setting well with our larger groups, these groups can have 15 supervisors who "share" responsiblity of staff and then 7 managers above them who also "share".

    What I am looking for input about is;

    Has anyone developed a way that allows giving multiple people shared responsibility of employees, allowing them to see and manage them in MSS?

    A little about our setup:
    We are on 9.0 (now and moving to 9.0.1 in the next 6 months or so)
    We use HR07 Supervisor Structure
    We are a 1 to 1 Position to Employee structure

    Also - is this something that is addressed or "better" in Infor 10?

      Every time we have asked about this the only answer we have been given is "you need to get Talent Management"

        This has been one of our issues as well with MSS. We have a large number of employees that have dual roles. As a secondary role manager, the manager cannot see any information on the employee. We have requested that our IS area customize the MSS screens to show the secondary role and non-role specific information to the secondary manager. This is still on our to do list, but it is important for management to see that information.

          Thanks for the replies - I know we are not going to be doing LTM anytime soon so I think we are going to have to look at ways to get around this also.
