Spousal Surcharge

    Has anyone had to set up a spousal surcharge for their employee benefits? If so, how did you set it up? I'm fairly new to Lawson applications and I am trying to get a jump start for our open enrollment season in Feb.

      We have had this running for a couple of years. We have different employee groups that use the spouse flag on HR11 as part of the group criteria and those employee groups are tied to different contribution groups on the benefit plan. When employees are hired, we default the flag to Y for spouse coverage and then our benefit reps walk them through changing that if needed when they have their initial one on one with the rep.

        Hi, we use Employee Self-Service for our Annual and New Hire benefits enrollment. I am trying to figure out if possible how to configure ESS Benefits Enrollment to handle a Spousal Surcharge for our Medical plan. We also would like to add new form/screen to our ESS Benefits Enrollment process that would display Spousal Surcharge Affidavit verbiage and have the employee select either a Yes or No on the affidavit which would update the HR11 Ben Flags->Spouse Coverage Health Coverage field/flag. Is there anyone that has anyone done this type of setup for a medical plan Spousal Surcharge?
