WHen we try to run a flow no matter the system commad we are doing ... Something as simple as 'whoami'. getting the message cannot su to lawson. No where have we tried to su to lawson. when we logon we are logging in as lawson.. any ideas

Has anyone implemented Process Automation with multiple Product Lines  The IPA Product Line has to match the LSF Product Line.  You can install multiple instances of IPA, for each Product Line, but LSF appears to only link to one IPA Product Line.  The LSF bpm.properties has a variable called lpsDataArea, that is set to the IPA Product Line.  I'm assuming this means you can only trigger services from this one Product Line.  Can you link LSF to multiple IPA Product Lines Thanks for any infor...

Sending email notifications for invoice and req Approvals (Approve button) from a User Action in  a process flow to Employee A.  (client wants to do approvals via email).  During UAT, had Employee A forward the approval email to Employee B (Employee B is not an approver).  In the forwarded email, Employee B pressed 'Approve' button and the approval goes through as Employee A.  Is there any way to prevent this

I have set up several flows to run once daily.  Some are supposed to run at night, some in early morning.  It looks like the first iteration of each of these ran when it was supposed to, but all subsequent runs are running at midnight.  I am sure I missed something in my schedule setup, but I don't know what.  Can someone provide a little guidance  Thanks in advance.

Can anyone provide any insight to what language process flow uses  We are trying to make changes to existing flows and copying them for revisions to create new flows.  It's a Frankenstein operation! We are creating a process flow and we need to concatenate a set of jobs, so that after the first job is completed the second one starts, and the third one starts after the second and so on... I need to create email and user action notification message bodies that are very dynamic. Using email attachments is not a real option per the requitements I have. As far as I can tell my choices are to use Msgbuilder or import pre created text from a file. What I was wondering was could I use javascript to create the html content at run time

I am working on a pflow that will run a multistep job using the WEBRUN node.  If this multistep job has 16 steps and I use the &WAIT=true is there a danger of process flow timing out waiting for the WEBRUN node to complete  The 16 steps run fairly quickly but if there is a higher volume of transactions I'm not sure if pflow will timeout and stop the workunit

I am thinking this is a configuration issue but I am not sure where to look. Is all I am doing is using the id variable I have to select the RM to return the email address to be used in an email node.  I have getting an error about false Boolean.

Declaring arrays in start node a tarray new Array() or tarray2 new Array(2). Setting array values in assign node and in assign node javascript. Have other start node variables of other types, string, integer, boolean. Notice that the array variables do not persist through a user action node but the other variable types do persist. Is this a bug I can not find documentation on this. Suggestions

Good morning, I am having difficulty trying to figure out how to obtain the user names for the approvers for a reqApproval process flow.  Since we have the scenario were requesters can also be approvers our flow needs to determine if the requester is equal to the approver and if so then the process  needs to bump up to the next lvl.   The approvers are set up in the tasks/filters in the Infor Rich Client (LTM).  Is there any way that I can pull that information to be used in a branch Thanks, ...

Is there a way to write a DME Query result to a FileAccess node without writing it field by field.  For example, if I query the Employee table for Company, Employee, LastName, is there a way to write the 3 fields to the FileAccess node without defining them as query_Company, query_Employee, query_LastName  It would be nice to just write out the entire line or the entire file like query_* Thanks for any help in advance. I am trying to convert a String Date with a format of mm/dd/yyyy received from a query of a table into an AGS format of yyyymmdd. I have tried a number of DATE to string and String to DATE functions but none of them are working. Could there be something wrong with one of our LPA setup functions  Has anyone else been having Date conversion issues

I am just curious to know if there is a rule of thumb on when to use the SQL Query and Query node.  I am bias towards SQL Query, however, most of the time, Query node code is shorter and you do not have to figure out the table/file relations specially if you build the code using the Query builder. On the other hand, I can write SQL with no tool assistance (very experienced). This thought came about when I am creating a query on tables EMPLOYEE, PAEMPLOYEE, POSITION, JOBCODE. Thanks, Jude

I am trying to setup a backup administrator but keep getting the user does not have Process Flow Administrative privileges. In LSF9 user has SuperAdminRole and has Process Flow role, setup same as myself. In LID he is sysadmin again same setup as myself. In PF Admin his user profile is the same as mine. He can run flows locally no problem but when we try to run the flow on the server he gets the privilege error. The PF Config file does has only the lawson user in it so my id is not there. What a...
