Hi, I want to esclate if an approver has not taken any action to the next level and at the same time i want to send an email to the next level approver

We would like to send a welcome message to new employees and their supervisor a few days after their hire date.  So basically, the flow will run nightly and look at the Hire Date field for today - 2 days and send an email to the new hire and their manager.  The manager's lawson number is in the HRSUPER table, so it will have to look at that first in order to lookup the manager's email on HR11. Does anyone already have a similar flow they would be willing to share  Thanks!

I can't seem to pull in the Dept description, PaPosition and Supervisor  fields in my query. I am looking to get a PA52 'Term' Action from Persaction, Get the dept name from department and Supervisor from Paposition and include the supervisor name in an email. The report can be created by the flow using the webservices node. But what is returned by the node is byte stream that needs to be written to the file system. Friends, I am working on a project involving invoking a process flow from AP160. I am trying to use an AGS call (like many have in here) and have not been having success. I have a question about Tasks and assigning work to an approver in the req approval flow. We have the following approval levels by requesting location at our facility: 1. Level 1 = $0 - $500 2. Level 2 = $501 - $1000 3. Level 3 = $1001 - $10000 4. Level 4 = $10000 - 100000 5. Level 5 = $100001 - UP Each level of approval can go to a different person depending on the requesting location. Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has found a way to leave a query before all records have been read. Similar to a 'do while'. I have a query that reads through lines on an invoice and I want to move on when a certain criteria is met instead of reading through all remaining records. Now I can do this with a branch within the query and just exit instead of going to the end of the query, but the problem comes when it comes back around to the beginning of that query again. I'm looking for some guidance on managing in progress work units when uploading a new version of a flow. For example, we're currently on V_03 of our Req Line Approval. When we went from V_02 to V_03 the 500 in progress V_02 units were stranded. They wwere in various stages of completion. Most units have 4 approvals required so they can have 0-3 approvals already complted and we'd have to either get the approvers to re-approve (not good for them) or do the approvals ourself with PF Administr...

Has anyone upgraded to LSF 9.0.1.6 using Windows 2008 R2 with the Transformation Extenders (Mercator/DataStage replacement) We have not been successful in getting ProcessFlow to call TE when installed on the server (can't make the 64 bit call) and we're being told by Lawson that we need to install TE on a 32 bit PC and call it remotely. Before I go that route, I'd love to know if anyone has implemented this without a remote PC. Thanks!

It has been my experience that ProcessFlow will timeout an object after about 60 seconds. I am using the SystemCommand object to run an external process and when it takes longer than 60 seconds, the SystemCommand object throws an error. The SqlQuery object appears to do the same thing. The WebRun object seems to have a longer timeout. This one acts more like 5 to 7 minutes. Does anyone know where to increase the timeouts for ProcessFlow objects I have looked through all the config files...

However we just added SQL 2005 database, and I'm having issues connecting to it. I read the guide in the other topic on this board how SQL2005 drivers does not work... so would sql 2000 drivers be able to connect to 2005

I am new to processflow and was trying to write a flow that will send an email to an employee's supervisor when they are due for their 30 & 90 day evaluations. I have the flow created that is generating the emails but I am not able to get it to send the email notification to the correct supervisor. It somehow seems to be picking up the email of the last supervisor in the supervisor query and sending the email to that supervisor. I therefore need some help getting this issue resolved. Thanks
