All We are doing an implementation and have run into a small issue. It has happened primarily on AP but i'm sure could happen elsewhere. When a user puts a special character like & - etc the form and database accept it but when they are input into a DME as keys it is causing issues. Has anyone ran into this before and does anyone have any advice or a known solution. Thanks Michael

I am running PF Integrator 9.0.0.3 against LSF 9.0.1 on Sun Solaris and Oracle 10g2. We have MS Active Directory and ADAM. I need to extract some information from  'Services' that is seen when you choose 'Manage Identities' in Security Administrator. I have built and executed flows that use a Rresource Query but I can't figure out how to get to the information on the Services section. Thanks for any assistance.

Anyone have a problem with Ags Call  WH130. The converted 8.0.3 to 9.0 will not create job. The   AGS build will not work for WH130 Dont get Error But can not find job when trying to submit

We are currently upgrading to Lawson 9.0 and I have only run a couple of my processflows that we had in 8.1.  It seems that the AGS calls are having an issue when adding a job not populating the default fields.  I had previously converted my flow from 8.1 and when that did not act correctly, I re added the AGS call using th AGS builder.  We are getting a couple of weird things (on two different flows) 1.  We are getting an invalid error message when we are adding WH130 jobs via processflow.  Wh...

Any idea why workunits logs (wulog) are being removed automatically from wflog directory I noticed these workunits has a status of 2.   Thanks for any help.

Has anyone been able to access/update the report distribution groups using a webrun command  I tried to update   with Dist Group and RPT-FLD20 with the distribtuion group (realizing it chnages from report to report), but they do not seem to get picked up in the webrun.

I am trying to get a design studio inbasket working for our 9.0 upgrade. I have narrowed it down to needing to get the position level on the workunit variable list. The problem is so far the only way I know how to do this is going and manually adding it. So My question is how are the workunit variables created and how can I ad one either by setup change or with processflow.

We are using ProcessFlow 8.03 Pro and j2sdk1.4.2_16. We have a processflow for a Peronnel Action Approval. See below the concerned AGS string. Does anyone have docs on how to configure MQ on AIX for Processflow We are trying to using it to send and receive messages from MQ that is installed locally on our AIX server but have not gotten it to work .  Also, any examples on use of the MQS node would be appreciated.

I have been trying to use the file access node to append a csv file just to see if I can. I can make it work when I run it in the designer on my pc butit is always trying to write the file to my c drive in the processflow folder. the manual says that the Output file line in the node should be the location of the file but it always seems to think the file is located in the c drive. where is the place to tell it the path to the folder the file is in I hope that makes sense to someone.

I have been playing with adding Process flow triggers from Design Studio and can trigger a process without any trouble. The issue I am having is how do I get some basic variables passed from the incident which triggered the flow so They can be used in the flow. The example i have been playing with is creating a log of who is viewing hr11 records. I can tell who is looking but I am not able to tell which records. Hi- I need to be able to query a Lawson table, joined to a table in a separate non-Lawson database and output the data to a file. With SQL DTS / SSIS this is pretty easy, and is basically a JOIN query using store number in this case.  The results are already in rows, so I just output the query results to a file. How is everyone else restricting the FUNCTIONAL user from applying changes to flows in the ProcessFlow Designer tool The users we work with are knowledgeable as far as how the nodes work etc. They also need the ability to test flow. Therefore they need access to the designer tool. But how do you prevent them from making changes to the flows We in IT want to control that.
