LSF 9.0.0.5, Windows Server 2003, SSO, LDAP bind in place. The situation I am describing is the scenerio where a user logs on to the domain (Windows XP w/s) and then has to re-enter credentials to log on the Lawson Portal. It seems to me that it will be complex to capture the ID and password in order to log into Portal with IE. Comments?

Lawson does not support SSO from windows to Portal, though it is possible for one to write a custom login interface that does just that.

We have a product that we purchased that gives our customer base an icon on their desktop that allows them to click and launch past the log in screen in lawson portal. So once they have logged into their computer on our domain, they just have to click on the icon and then they are in lawson portal (with no logging in again).

Editorial comment: Lawson SSO means single sign on for Lawson products. Sorta. What you are describing is "integrated security", which Lawson doesn't support.

Is this for LSF9? Or for 8.x ?
