How do I change the userid for a user who has married, divorced, etc?

I'm assuming that your RMID includes the person's (former) NAME as part of the RMID? In that case you can't change it - you would have to inactivate or delete the original RMID and add the new RMID.

That is a thorny issue for sure. The short answer is "don't". =

You can change a user's name easily, in RMID.  However, you cannot change the userID.

See this article in the KB for details on this  - 560184.

We use a process where for name changes
            *Add New AD Account
            *Inactivate old AD account
            *Add new Lawson Account
            *Delete old Lawson account

We ran into trouble when one of our LBI admins got married and changed her user ID. The old AD account was deleted and she started using her new account before we received the notification to set her up in LSA. She couldn't access in LBI. Whe she could get in, she had some things in development she had not shared with the other LBI admins and, since they were owned by her old ID, she couldn't see them with her new id. Be very careful to verify everything is working under a new ID before removing the old one.

Dan: Your predicament sounds typical.. but for LBI at least, all of the reports/modules/dashboards you should be able to "get back".
Use the 'Content' link from your 'Tools' dashboard. Should initially display everything that 'you' own.
Type SYSTEMMANAGER (all caps) into the 'Display Content for User' box, and hit 'Submit'. All things here, should be reassigned back to valid LBI users.
