    Hello,

Our warehouse is having a problem with the delivery comments.  When a PO combines with requisitions from several different locations the same comment is showing up on all of the delivery documents creating problems.  Is it possible to have the delivery comments go on the issued line by department?  I was told that this was not an option and when the PO100 runs, it will pick up the requisitions for each vendor and only print one delivery comment for one of the requesters.

Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Ardra

As far as I know, you can't do it. The PO line only has one comment section. So it delivers every time for delivery.

You may want to look at your PO10/10.2 setups and not allow it to combine locations on a line.

Kat, the PO actually has multiple lines with different item numbers and different locations per line item. One requester is placing a comment to print on delivery tickets for their requesting location and it is appearing on all of the delivery tickets. Would this be the same scenario?

So User 1 creates Req 1 with Item A, B, C and a comment. User 2 creates req 2 with Item B, C, D. PO created with 4 lines and no comment. Comment appears even if delivery ticket is just for Item D?

If that's your scenario, then User 1 is creating a Header Comment - if comment is on the line, it will only appear on the delivery ticket for that line.

In the scenario above, Item A has the comment - it would only appear on item A. But Item B and C (the overlaps) would have it regardless of which location the ticket was for. The PO line has a comment - that comment prints for delivery. It doesn't care about the source of the comment, it could come from the req, the PO or an interface. The only thing it cares about is that the line has one.

Thank you Kat. That's exactly what the problem was.
