Report for Non-Inventory Items

Are you trying to identify non-stock items that have been purchased?

You can run the PO220 report and export it to a csv file. IF you don't like that report, there are 2 other options...If you have add-ins you could create a query to pull N type items from the POLINE and PURCHORDER tables.

Unfortunately if you don't have add-ins, you have to go to a little bit more length to pull exactly what you want if you didn't like the PO220 as these other two reports don't indicate item type. You could run a purchase history report from PO254 or an MM280 report along with a IC211 which will show you you stock items. Export them to csv files to do a lookup to identify the item types in which ever purchase history report you ran. Then filter by the non-stocks.

I know sounds more time consuming than it should be but if you know Excel or have someone who does its quite easy. If you have any questions please let me know.

Personally, I like to use Crystal or Addins but I know not everyone has that option. The only canned reports that I can think of that would get you close are PO254 or MM280. But these don't identify the item type in the output and that makes sorting out the specials and services difficult.
