Does anyone know how to Stop List Mode in Portal by ? All Lawson forms (both delivered and custom) when accessing them through the search box in Portal, the first screen comes up with the List Mode (e.g. you have to select the company first in a list of companies). We can stop the list mode manually on each form by clicking on the "Stop List Mode" button. But we don't want List Mode at all for any form, by default.
This is very annoying and I can't find any documentation or controls to disable this by default.
This is on LSF9 Portal on AIX platform.
Thanks in advance,
-R

When I first saw this, I thought, "What the heck is he talking about?" I saw it again today and maybe the coffee had just kicked in, but a light came on.
I think you're talking about a setting that can be controlled in the Role Manager overall or in the User Options for a single user. In the Role Manager, the field I played with was called 'Use List Style Presentation' in the Options Tab. Under user Options, it's the 'Use List Style Presentation' Check box.
I didn't do an exhaustive test, but those seem to control it.

Thanks Norm,
There is a tag in the user.xml file that was set to "1" and I reset it back to "0" for all users and that did the trick.

Glad it was that simple. I remember looking at that option a long time ago thinking that it would be nice in very selective cases but horrible if it was turned on generically.
