Still seems like a little flaw. For example, our staff accountants have no HR11 token access; but once LS is rolled out and the ESS role is added to their profile – they will have access to their data in HR11. It may only be view status; but it seems like a “flaw” in Smart Office to allow a user to search for those screens.
The data will be secure; but the “beauty” of ESS in portal is creating a protal role and securing the “search” box from view .
You can do roles in LSO; but securing the “start” or "Search" box does not appear to be an option as it is in Portal. Anyhow - not a huge issue because the data is secure.
It really isn't a flaw. You can still get to HR11 in Portal now even with the Search box removed, and in LSO, and if secured correctly with LS Security, you should be able to see only your own data - no one else's. HR11 can be considered just a 'view' of your data. ESS screens is another 'view' of your data. Posted By andrew on 02/06/2013 10:53 AM Hi thanks for your reply. Still seems like a little flaw.
