Has anyone tried setting up group policies in Active Directory to allow different settings for different groups of users?  For example, I'd like my IT group to be able to send broadcasts messages through the communicator widget, but not all the other users.  I don't have access to the AD we're bound to and want to know what I need to tell the folks that maintain that.

Jeremy, We spoke at the last user group meeting about installing smart office. I'm having an issue with the
lcm.properties. I'm installing LCM on a Windows 2008 server - ldap on the iseries. I have lcm manager installed and the service running, but i can't sign on the LCm client. I think the issue is with the prefix, suffix or search values. Could you give me an example of these settings ? I tried to email you from our KLUG and it gave me errors....PS - sorry this wasn't an answer to your post !

        Hi Jeremy,
This is described in the Administrators guide. You need the key of the setting but I think there is another key as well, like Software / company.

        How did it go?
