Is the Lawson training the best way to learn process flow? Are there other ways that process flow training is delivered?
My organization doesn't have a training budget but I need to learn process flow and I'm willing to pay for the training myself.
I would just like to use my $$ wisely and get the best training available. I appreciate any comments and suggestions.

The best way is to take a training class, either via Lawson or bring someone in for a custom training class. When I was a client we had Lawson come in and walk us through building our first flow (instead of performing their normal training class).
If you're a member of a Lawson User Group, you could ask that group to bring in a consultant for a quick overview of how ProcessFlow works and then once you've got a foundation, you could learn by doing.

Mary, I have an article series here on LawsonGuru.com; here are links to some of the articles:
https://www.lawsonguru.co...he-Introduction.aspx
https://www.lawsonguru.co...hats-in-the-Box.aspx
The series covers the basics on what nodes are available and how they are used to design flows.
Couple of things to keep in mind:
- Designing flows is only half the equation; the other half is setting up the services/tasks, assigning users to them, etc. on the server.
- ProcessFlow is replaced with "Process Automation" in v10 (although you can, and should consider, implement it prior to upgrading to v10). The concepts are the same, but the designer and the setup / configuration screens are different.

We had HyBridge Solutions come in and do a 2 day training course for about 6 of us. I recommend them highly. Very knowledgeable and very easy to work with.
