Is it possible to associate/display a Design Studio form from within a users Inbasket when a user goes to take action?  Thanks.

You have to build a Portal Page with a formlet (which would be your Design Studio form) and reference the Portal Page XML file in your UserAction Display Exec.

David, would you have any examples of this setup that you would like to share? Thanks, Joe

Hi, David, I would love to get a copy of any examples you have, as well.
I see in the "work" tab of the User Action node, that I have options for "display type".
Among the options are "Infor Lawson Custom Form", "Infor Lawson URL", and "Infor Lawson application".
I had entered a case with Lawson and they mentioned something about adding parameters to the end, so I am thinking URL is the correct selection, but I could be wrong.
Anything that would provide more detail than the documentation I have found so far would be appreciated

Is this possible to do in a 10.0 implementation where DS does not exist, but you have all the DS stuff (e.g. portal page and form) from another system. In other words is it possible to use a DS inbasket exec on a version 10 system?

If you are using LPA (IPA) for S3 then you can reference the same XML Portal Page to display your S3 Inbasket.
The Display Type is S3 Custom form and the File Id is the .xml file

                  Hi Everyone,

I have a request to display a custom form when an approver returns a approval request so they can enter the reason they are returning it.

Can you forward any documents and/or steps that outline how to complete this?

                  Thank you.

Dave, you mean apart from the existing "Messages" section of the standard Inbasket menu?

                      Hi David,

Yes. I was thinking that in the ApproveDraftRequisition processflow, if the Hiring Manager does a 'return' action, it would be nice to display the notes screen (like your looking at the job requisition and they click the Note() link  so they can add a note to the requisition as to why the hiring manager returned it and not approved it.

                      Thanks.
