I am a newbee to processflow. I am trying to add the attachments to the requisition approval process flow. Can someone give me instructions on how to do this? As of now, the approvers go into their html web inbaskets and preview the reqs, then decide to approve or deny. At that time, I would like to show them the attachments on the req.

If I remember correctly, the HTML Inbasket view contains a drill around link which should allow the user to get to the attachment (comment) section of the requisition. Is that what you're asking about or do you have a document imaging system that you want to include a link to?

I never got around to figuring out a way to bypass the steps. I'm not sure how to direct drill to what you're looking for. You should be able to use the getattachrec.exe function to pull out the comment and present it as a hyperlink.

Technically the requisition doesn't store attachments just the path. If where they are being stored is somewhat static you could add buttons to the requisition. Say the path was
https://somwhere/
{requisition number} and the path was always formatted like that a button would be easy since all you would be doing is replacing the requisition number. We do something similar using Share point. Another option is to extract the URL's getattachexe. I've never tried it with the URL attachment but it should work, fill a list box, let them select and click a button.
These are just some thoughts that may help.
Robert
