LTM Database Trigger

IN LTM I would like to kickoff a processflow after a candidate has applied to a job that will check the JobReqQuestion table and if the candidate has answered YES to any of the questions send a notification and email to some HR representatives letting them know that a candidate has applied for a job but further investigation is needed.

I was thinking that the trigger for the service would be a database trigger on the JobApplication table. Has anyone done this or know the best way for me to trigger this flow?
