Trying to submit a transaction through PF to PA52.5 to swap the primary position. When trying to do the add its coming back with the message to "Perform the Move From Level special action" - which is the V function - but that function is NOT the add function. its what populates the new position values that you are moving to.
Have submitted the transaction through portal with the trace debugger on to try to capture a valid AGS call to make - so the manual steps that I'm going through are:
1. Inquire with Position Level 1
2. Set process type to 5 on Special Processing tab and also set value of Move From Level to 2 (what would be the new primary position level).
3. Select the Move From Level on the Inquire button drop down - which now sets all of the Change To values
4. Click Add to submit this as a pending transaction
Then I would do the same, but in reverse of position level 2 to 1 - and then submit a PA100 to complete the swap.
But the hang up is in completing that final add step. That step in essence makes an AGS call with all of the appropriate values set - and I've captured the XML returned from doing it manually - but can't seem to replicate the correct AGS call to actually submit this - as I mentioned keep getting the message to perform the move from level.
Does anyone know what value the add might be looking at to think that this action has taken place? Or have a working AGS call to do this that you can share?

Perform your action in Portal.
Press ctrl-alt-V and examine the TransXML for the actual field values the
Portal used in performing your transaction
Examine the NamColl to see what _fld numbers map to what db fields.
Hope this helps,

Been there, done that - that's what the AGS call was built from - but if you use that manually from the browser you get the move from level message. And where I'm wondering if there is a missing piece - that is the transxml - which is (I believe) the RESULTING XML from the transaction - but that may not be precisely what the AGS call is.....?

This may seem like a silly question, but have you included the hkey values and have you researched required values to pass for the "XMIT-" hidden values (e.g. XMIT-HREMP-BLOCK, XMIT-PAPEP-BLOCK, etc...)?
Are you familiar with the XMIT- fields and how they are used?

yes - familiar with them, but it is worth a second look. I believe I'm updating with the same value that is used in the form - which DOES NOT return a soft error - it completed fine. But that might be the issue.
Is there a document list of XMIT values for the different forms anywhere?
