I am on lsf 9 and apps 8 with PF pro.  I have a custom sep-pend flow for pa52.  When I fill out the PA52 and hit add, the flow is initiated.  The first step is to go to a user action.  When this user opens the folder to see the PA52, the information is wrong.  It has the second through fourth digit of the employee number in the company field and the fifth and final digit of the employee number is concatenated with 0's and is in the employee field.  The action number has the date in it and the date has 11/30/1899.

How can I make the form attached to workunit appear correct?

Was this flow migrated from 8 env to LSF9, or is it new?

      Couple things to look at:
      - using the /bpm admin forms, look at the variables attached to the workunit, and see if they are correct
      - then look at the "form fields" to see if they are defined correctly.
Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!

This is a new flow for 9.0.

The workunit variables are all correct in /bpm.

This is an unmodified PA52.1 and all the fields are what they are suppose to be.

I've seen this before - the Form Field Definition in ProcessFlow Admin (menu.do) is incorrect for PA52.1 and J-PA52.1
If you correct the settings then your PA52 form in the Inbasket will display correctly.

I need a little educating here...

The workunit variables have a sequence nbr.  The form fields definition has field nbr.  The form itself has a field nbr that begins with an _f.  They are all three different.

How do I know what field nbr should be on my form field definition?

Here is a screenshot of my form field definitions.  J-PA42.1 has the same thing as PA42.1

            Thanks.

Yeah, I can see why you're confused...

The field numbers should match the _fXX numbers.
The workunit variable seq numbers are their sequence within the variables attached to the workunit, and have nothing to do with how they match up to the fields.

BTW, on a server I'm looking at now, the PT- fields are not set up on this screen, just PCT-COMPANY, PCT-EMPLOYEE, PCT-ACTION-CODE and PCT-EFFECT-DATE (in other words, just the key fields for the form).
Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!

Thank you both. That did it. I did remove the PT fields and just left the 4 PCT fields. I corrected the field numbers and field lengths and changed the date to alpha type and it shows up perfectly now. Y'all are the best!

FYI - for others that come across this issue - open up the notes on just about any PA, HR CTP and in the special instructions, it gives very clear and simple instructions for this - to basically delete the PA52 forms out of BPM that you are using and recreate them. It gives the exact values to enter.
