When working in an xml inbasket with design studio is the current workunit number available to me? Do I have to query to find it?

No, the WorkUnit isn't one of the passed variables that I've been able to retrieve so you will have to query for it.

Depending upon the Service - if you're working with a requisition approval then query the Workunit table on title (or description) and find the requisition number within the title (use a LIKE search).

"No, the WorkUnit isn't one of the passed variables"
Actually that is not true, I use it all the time. And before anyone asks, sorry I am not going to tell you what it is. There are certain things that I consider "trade secrets" that benefit my client base and add value for my services, I spent many hours researching to find that answer and is part of my "tool belt" that I offer my clients. I can tell you it is as simple as referencing a variable name.

Gary - with all due respect, I appreciate that you're smater than the rest of us, but if you're not going to provide information, then what is the point of posting that you know how to do this? Oh yeah, to prove that your smarter.

Now, boys. I don't want to have to put you into the timeout chair. Gary, I would point out that if I kept all of *my* trade secrets, you wouldn't have this site. So, get over yourself, and play nice.
