Hello,
what is the best way to run a report in Lawson? other than Add-ins?

Not sure about best way, but here are options -
1. SQL query
2. IPA
3. 4GL/Cobol
4. Crystal reports
5.......

Many years ago, I wrote a bunch of articles on reporting from Lawson, and some aspects are still very relevant. In particular, your best option depends on what software you're currently using, what security requirements you have, what tools you and your team are comfortable with (or willing to learn), how you want to deliver the content to your end users, etc. etc.

I agree with Ragu, my best results always came from using SQL because the flexibility.
